International Paper Shortages
As I am sure you are aware, the paper industry is currently experiencing a period of volatile pricing and disrupted supply. These issues are being caused by a combination of raw material shortage that is driving commodity prices up and also reduced manufacturer production. The effect of these problems is being felt by all producers of paper-based products. We are focused on ensuring continuity of supply and stability of pricing wherever possible. We are working hard with our suppliers to mitigate price increases and to obtain sufficient supply. However, the extreme circumstances at present mean that despite our best efforts we may have to pass on cost increases on some paper and manilla based products. At present these increases are in the range of 5 to 10% across a significant number of products. Unfortunately due to ongoing negotiations we are unable to confirm exactly which products will be affected by these changes and to what extent. We will, however, ensure that full details are communicated at the earliest opportunity. Please rest assured that we are dedicated to delivering the best product offer to you at the most competitive price. We, at TLC like to keep our customers informed – and we will try to keep any price rises to the lowest possible.
